The aim of the Academic Department of UME is to improve the educational experiences of University of Management and Economics students. Staff of the ACADEMICS provide support and work co-operatively with members and Quality Assurance members of the UME community to achieve this aim.
Quality Assurance and Academic Department provide:
- Teaching, learning and assessment advice
- Professional development and training for teaching staff
- Assistance with the development of units or courses
- Support for the evaluation or review of teaching, units or courses
- Support for institutional and individual research related to learning and teaching
- Postgraduate courses in higher education
- Collaboration on faculty learning and teaching projects
- Support for career development and applications for teaching and other awards
- Policy advice on learning and teaching matters
