Signing agreement
On Academic Recognition and
Validation for double degree,
Joint-Degree and reseach Degree
between the Isles. International
University & University of Management
and Economics
On 22 June 2009, UME President, Tun Pheakdey signed an collaboration agreement on Academic Recognition and Validation for Double Degree, Joint-Degree and Research Degree with IIU President, Prof. Sandhu, Isles International University in Malaysia. This agreement entered into the following points:
- Academic recognition of international and postgraduate degrees based on mutual agreement on quality assurance procedures of both universities.
- Academic validation of international and postgraduate degrees based on mutual annual audit of the universities. The validation as double degree is at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- The conduct of joint-degree at undergraduate and graduate studies offered by both universities respectively at approved and accredited location at home country and / or globally. Research degree are strictly by publication with the findings of the thesis to be published in the Journal.
The meeting between UME president and IIU president was held at Phnom Penh Hotel and the agreement was signed on 22 June 2009. This agreement comes into force from the date of their signing.
