University of Management and Economics held the first meeting of the Board for

academic year 2010 on 30 September 2010. The meeting was chaired by

Dr. Tep Khunnal, Chairman of the Board of Director,and attended by external

members H.E Dr. Buth Kimsean, Honorary Chairman and University Advisor,

and Mr. Veung Mony, Personal Advisor to Battambang Governor,

Mr. Puth Chamroeun, Project Manager of Trauma Care Foundation.

The internal members including Prof. Dr. Tun Pheakdey, UME President,

Prof. Dr. Prien Hiep, vice-president for academic, Prof. Dr. Chum Lay,

vice-presidentfor administration and Assoc. Prof. Tun Narith,MBA,vice-president

for foundation and Quality Assurance, Prof. Chan Sam An, Ph.D.Vice-President

of International Relation and UME Campuses.

The meeting was about the budget planning for next academic year and adding two new fields, Banking and Community

Development Managment to school of managment.

UME President, H.E. Prof. Dr.Tun Pheakdey was invited to make presentations on UME's budget plan which will be the operation

of nextyear, academic program restructuring, and a proposal for a new venture management program. The meeting

was completely finished on the same day under the pleasant condition.
