Computer Center
The Computer Training Centre serves the University of Management and Economics with information technology through the exploration, provision, support and integration of computer tools in educational experience and training, scientific research, academic curriculum, finance and administration operations, students admission and registration operations, internet service, and the main library functions. In particular, these functions include:
- Providing necessary hardware and software along with maintenance and supervision to support academic teaching and curriculum at University.
- Helping University in teaching introductory computer-oriented courses to university students.
- Developing and maintaining the student information system to support activities related to admissions registration, timetabling and grades.
- Developing and maintaining the library information system.
- Delivering professional training to the university staff on the use and utilization Of computer technology.
- Linking the University to world-wide networks through computer communications.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to university employees in acquiring computer/technology.
