Foundation Year Program
MBA. Tun Narith , vice president in charge of foundation year department was giving a whole report of UME to the meeting and the result of Foundation Year achievement in the 10th generation 2009.
H.E. El Soy stated in the ceremony that ACC is a good quality manager for the education of Cambodia. Cambodian students will be able to go through the international standard as well as other asian countries. He expressed his pleasure to the ceremony for the program established in UME. At the final time, he gave his very good advices to students and other faculties to stand out strong committments to offer and receive the Foundation Program effectively. The last minutes of the meeting, H.E. El Soy, Mr. TUN Pheakdey, Mr. Yee Songky, Mr. Chum Lay and Mr. Prien Hiep had presented the certificate to students. The ceremony was completed on the same day at 11:30 AM.

Foundation Year Certificate Ceremony for FY 10th promotion of the University of Management and Economic was held on 30 Sept 2009 at UME Battambang campus in the morning at 8:30. It was held under the presidency of H.E El Soy , deputy governor of Battambang and come along with Mr. Yee Songky , deputy director of department of youth and sport Battambang.
The president, TUN Pheadkey was warmly welcomed to the honored guests and gave a statement about the developing phase of UME under the strict control of Accreditation Committee of Cambodia and Ministry of Youth and Sports. President, Pheakdey stated that Foundation Year is the first step of new progam given to foundation students which is conducted by the Department of Foundation Year Program on behalf of the University of Management and Economics. He added that the Foundation Year Program allows both first and second semester entry to undergraduate courses at the University of Management and Economics and other universities within Cambodia. Moreover, The University of Management and Economics Foundation Year Program has established a record of successful university entry with over 90% of students gaining entry into undergraduate courses at the University of Management and Economic and other Cambodian institutions.
