Student Union
The UME Students’ Union is the representative body for all students at UME. It provides a
wide range of services, facilities and activities, and facilitates a large numberof activities
and societies. The UME Students’ Union is affiliated to the Office of Academic Development
and International Relation of UME.

Advice and information
The Union’s Advice and Information Service, run by staff members, elected officers and
volunteers, offers help and guidance on a range of issues including academic, financial
and learning problems. Specialist advice is available for mature students.
Helping the rural poor
UME student’s union is helping the poor by offering living support such as rice, noodle,
sarong, mosquito net, mat, shirt and so forth. All these supports arec subscribed
by the generosity of people through out Battambang province.
Technical training for agriculture (TTA), UME SU formed a strong group for TTA.
The rural poor who have farm land will be offering a technical training for
agriculture. TTA can help them a lot to building up their productivities of farm
economics.
Sports
If you want to get involved in sport, you will be pleased to hear that the UME Students’
Unionhas a lot to offer. It caters comprehensively for elite athletes as well as grass
roots participants in a diverse range of sports.
Organized internally by a dedicated team of students from The UME Students’ Union in
StudentActivities, ran by students for students.
Sports include volleyball, football, ping pong, badminton and basketball, however if there is
something you'd like to play then let us know, and we'll do our best to get it up and
running.
