The following items must be submitted on the date of application:

A completed application form
A copy of official transcript, certificate or equivalent from the educational
Three 1" x 1" photographs taken not more than 2 months prior to application
A copy of Identification card
A copy of certificate of name surname change (if any)

Doctoral Program

To be eligible for admission to the Doctoral program, an applicant must:

have strong academic records (both undergraduate and graduate) and normally hold a four-year bachelor's degree, and a Master's degree, preferably with a combination of course and thesis work, from an institution of good standing, acceptable to UME. The minimum GPA requirement for admission to the doctoral program is 3.50 or equivalent at the master's degree level.

submit a brief outline of dissertation research proposal including the required research facilities, if necessary.

receive a written confirmation that a faculty member at UME is available and willing to supervise.

Master's Degree Program

To be eligible for admission to the master's program, an applicant must:

hold a Bachelor degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study from an institution of good standing acceptable to UME.

have undergraduate grades significantly above average; the minimum GPA requirement for admission to the master's program is 2.5 or equivalent at the Bachelor degree level.

be in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct. All candidates are required to pass the written entrance examination in English, mathematical and cultural studies.

Applicants must have a grade 12 certificate or a high-level vocational certificate, or its equivalent, as approved by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports.

All applicants must be free from any serious illness or contagious disease, exhibit acceptable personal conduct and pass on entrance examination which will be entirely in English. The University will specify the exact date and time of the examination which covers: Mathematics and Cultural Studies.
