Doctoral Program

To be eligible for admission to the Doctoral program, an applicant must:
- have strong academic records (both undergraduate and graduate) and normally hold a four-year bachelor's degree, and a Master's degree, preferably with a combination of course and thesis work, from an institution of good standing, acceptable to UME. The minimum GPA requirement for admission to the doctoral program is 3.50 or equivalent at the master's degree level.
- submit a brief outline of dissertation research proposal including the required research facilities, if necessary.
- receive a written confirmation that a faculty member at UME is available and willing to supervise.

Master's Degree Program

To be eligible for admission to the master's program, an applicant must:
- hold a Bachelor degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study from an institution of good standing acceptable to UME.
- have undergraduate grades significantly above average; the minimum GPA requirement for admission to the master's program is 2.5 or equivalent at the Bachelor degree level.
- be in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct. All candidates are required to pass the written entrance examination in English, mathematical and cultural studies.

Bachelor Degree

Applicants must have a grade 12 certificate or a high-level vocational certificate, or its equivalent, as approved by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports.
All applicants must be free from any serious illness or contagious disease, exhibit acceptable personal conduct and pass on entrance examination which will be entirely in English. The University will specify the exact date and time of the examination which covers: Mathematics and Cultural Studies.

To be eligible for admission to the diploma program, at least an applicant must hold a certification of failed high school exam or it equivalents.

Certificate students need to satisfy the eligibility requirements similar to those entering the diploma program and have the appropriate background to take selected courses. In exceptional cases, candidates who lack formal academic qualifications but who have extensive and appropriate professional experience may be considered for admission.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

Transfer students seeking admission to University of Management and Economics must have obtained a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above from former accredited institutions. The grades earned from the former institutions are valid for only six years. The grade eligible for transfer can be not lower than "C" or its equivalent. The transcript of record must be submitted for the purpose of the credit transfer.

H.E SOR KHENG SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is fully and partially providing to the poor students which supported by His Excellency, Sor Keng, deputy prime minister of Kingdom of Cambodia. The numbers of scholarships are up to 50 seats each academic year. Students from High School (passed grade 12) and other potential students are calling to apply for this scholarship support. All applicants are considered for a scholarship of between 10% and 100% of tuition fees.
UME SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
The University of Management and Economics is offering a large numbers of scholarships to potential students who completely passed grade 12 from high school or from equivalent degree. The University of Management and Economics offers each year, on a competitive basis, numerous fully and partially-funded bachelor degree studentships. To be considered for this scholarship, all applicants are required to apply for admission and competitive examination of Mathematic and Cultural Studies. The scholarship is offering between 30% to 100% for tuition fee.
H.E TUN PHEAKDEY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
In order to be considered for a Tun Pheakdey Scholarship you do not need to make a separate application. Please indicate on your application for admission that you wish to be considered for a scholarship. This scholarship is not required competitive examination, but need to be considered on academic merit of applicant and family economics of applicants. The scholarship will be provided to students fully and partially.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit and are normally for the duration of the period of study – one to three years for Bachelor and one year for Masters program. They are available from all Schools of Study and across most courses of study.
